I go through hobbies like I go through socks. Knitting is one of those hobbies, but I continue to pick it up when it starts getting cold, so I guess it is a consistent but timely hobby. For some reason, I can’t bring myself to knit a scarf or gloves or a hat when it is 110 degrees outside. So, when it gets cold, I start pulling out my yarn stash and printing knitting patterns like crazy.
I decided to knit some gloves for gifts since they are fairly quick, even for me, the slow knitter. I absolutely love the Evangeline pattern by Sweetsheep on Ravelry. Ravelry is wonderful! They partner with Flickr to showcase completed projects so you can see the projects from many different knitters. There are free patterns and patterns for purchase, and I have enjoyed learning from the discussions on the site.
I’ll post photos soon!
