Chocolate Pudding

WOOT!  I made Chocolate Pudding from avocados.  I know, weird, right?!  This stuff was downright delightful.  Check out The Primalist’s recipe for Chocolate Avocado Pudding.  You’ll thank me later!

I had a decadent dinner with the hubs on Monday.  We had two steaks in the fridge that we meant to eat on Saturday, parsnips, and mushrooms.  I drank some red wine with dinner, and I finished everything off with some chocolate pudding.  I would suggest adding some whipped cream to cut the density.  I just used my handy Cuisinart immersion blender to whip a little cream.  Takes about 10 seconds.  Also, still cigarette-free!

We also had a mini ice storm on Tuesday!  In the South, if there is even a small threat of ice on the road (no matter how miniscule the chances), school lets out, the grocers run out of bread and milk in about an hour, and people hunker down hoping for the best.  We went home at noon on Tuesday.  I went to the store and bought the ingredients for chili without beans which is a great comfort food that also fits into the paleo/primal lifestyle.  Luckily, not much happened, and we were back at work on Wednesday morning at the normal time.  Pooh.

Lastly, I’ve been reading Haruki Murakami’s 1Q84.  I can’t get it out of my head.  It’s so weird, so entertaining.  It gets to you.
